How far is Red River, Eagle Nest, Taos or Angel Fire, NM from a major city?

Dallas, TX is approximately 620 miles and a 9 to 10-hour drive.
Oklahoma City, OK is approximately 500 miles and is a 8 to 8.5-hour drive.
Amarillo, TX is approximately 275 miles and is a 4.5-hour drive.
Wichita, KS is approximately 500 miles and is a 8-hour drive.
Tulsa, OK is approximately 575 miles and is a 9.5-hour drive.

 

How do we find our rental?

The property directions will be sent to you 14 days before your arrival, after the balance is paid in full. DO NOT USE GOOGLE MAPS TO FIND YOUR RENTAL. Please use the property directions provided in your email.
 

When is my payment taken?

A refundable deposit of 50% of your reservation total is required at the time of booking to reserve your cabin. 30 days prior to your arrival date, the remaining balance will be charged to the credit card on file.  Enchanted Circle Property Services will send a confirmation email with directions, and a key code for entry. PRINT that email and bring it with you, since it contains all our contact information. If you book less than 30 days prior to your arrival date, all funds are due at booking.


What if I need to cancel or change my reservation?

The deposit is a refundable deposit up until 30 days prior to your vacation. You can move your deposit up to 30 days before your check-in date to a different available property or date, as long as it is in the same calendar year.  You MUST call to change or cancel your reservation.  Our number is (575) 440-ECPS or you may email us at Answers.  If you do not contact us before the 30th day from arrival, you will be charged the full amount for your reservation. After the 30-day period, the entire reservation is non-refundable and cannot be moved or canceled.


Are pets allowed?

What time do we check-in and check-out?

Check-in time is at 4 pm MST. Check-out time is at 11 am MST.  We do not offer early check-in or late check-out.  


Do we need a fishing license?

Everyone 12 years of age and older is required to have a valid fishing license. Licenses are valid April 1 through March 31 of the following year.  A fishing license may be purchased at Williams Trading Post & Hardware (Red River), Sitzmark Sports (Red River), Eagle Nest Fly Shack & Lodge, Red River Angler and Sport, Wild Rivers on the Fly (Taos), Eagle Nest Cabins & Marina or buy a license online at NM WILDLIFE.

 

Do we need a hunting license?

Everyone 17 years of age and older is required to have a valid hunting license. Licenses and pricing are determined by game and hunt type. All hunters under the age of 17 must possess a hunter education or mentor-youth number. The rules for hunting vary. We recommend researching the types of licenses at NM WILDLIFE.  A hunting license may be purchased at Williams Trading Post & Hardware (Red River), Sitzmark Sports (Red River), Eagle Nest Fly Shack & Lodge, Red River Angler and Sport, Wild Rivers on the Fly (Taos), Eagle Nest Cabins & Marina or buy a license online at NM WILDLIFE.


What do we need to bring with us?

The weather in Northern New Mexico is typical of high elevation locations.  We recommend bringing sunscreen, insect repellant, light jackets/vests in the spring and fall, and cold weather wear in the winter months. There are many hiking, ATV and bike trails around the Enchanted Circle and Carson National Forest. You cannot access ATV trails from all properties, but you can trailer your ATV to nearby trails, or in the case of Red River ride your ATV to the trails.  We also recommend checking our Weather page, which provides access to weather reports for each of the Enchanted Circle's communities.


What is my property stocked with?

Enchanted Circle Property Services stocks properties with the following supplies: toilet paper, tissues, dish soap, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, etc.  Kitchens are stocked with cups, plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans, cooking sheets, coffee maker, etc.  Many of the larger cabins have crockpots.  All cabins come with linens, towels, comforters, pillows, etc.
 

Where can we buy groceries?

You can purchase groceries at Der Food Mart in Red River, Lowe’s Market in Angel Fire or Wal-Mart in Taos.  You may also fill out a concierge request from our concierge services to order groceries ahead of our stay.


How do we check-in?
There are no check-in procedures. You do not have to come by our office to check-in.  Simply print out your confirmation email and follow those instructions for arrival.

How do we check-out?
There will be a check-out procedure for the property you rent. Please perform all check-out duties prior to your departure. You do not have to come by our office to check-out.
